ML team Lead

We are looking for a creative Applied Scientist to join our team and tackle some of the most interesting problems on the leading edge of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML). As an ML Team Lead, you will guide the building of a competitive team of data scientists and ML engineers, drive the building of exceptional applied AI/ML solutions with the latest techniques. Moreover, you will bring technological and scientific excellence in several NLP tasks, including question answering, text summarization, search and information extraction from unstructured text datasets.   Responsibilities as ML Team Lead:  Lead and coach a squad of more junior data scientists & engineers.  Ability to go from paper-to-implementation and come up with novel ideas. Deep understanding of ML models with emphasis on NLP tasks.  Being up-to-date on the state-of-the-art.  Define production-ready AI software products with full ML pipeline capabilities, including strategy, architecture, roadmap.  Share your ideas for models and prototype them using all the best practices.  Establish communication channels; synthesize and relate the relevant information from the ML team to stakeholders and the board of directors.  The skills & experience you bring  Significant experience (6+) in ML theory, methods, and hands-on with real-world, noisy and often limited datasets with emphasis on NLP.  Experience (2+) bringing large-scale machine learning models into production.  Strong fundamentals in probability theory, information theory, statistics, linear algebra, computer science, data structures, code optimization and algorithms.  Deep familiarity/experience with some of the popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Pytorch Keras, SparkML, scikit-learn, XGBoost, H2O Python, transformers technologies for NLP (e.g., huggingface, Spacy), pandas, numpy, etc.  Results-oriented, proactive and decisive.  Strong team spirit, communication and leadership skills.  A curious, creative, and analytical mindset.  Nice to haves  Experience with Machine Learning deployment and MLOPs frameworks (e.g., AirFlow).  Experience building data pipelines and storage for high volume, unstructured text document data (e.g., ElasticSearch).  Comfortable with DevOps on Cloud architectures (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).  What we offer  Highly competitive salary and insurance package.  A relaxed working atmosphere with young and energetic people.  Personalized working station.  Strong company culture & teamwork.  Work on state-of-the-art enterprise technologies.  Continuous training.  For applying for this job position, please send us your CV at [email protected]   Please note that all applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Job description We are looking for a Mid to Senior Software Engineer with experience in developing microservice big data solutions, inside and out, to join our highly skilled data science team. A tech-savvy professional who is curious about new digital technologies and likes working on agile teams. In this position, you will be working with our data scientists and engineers to develop and maintain high-quality APIs and streaming ETL products for our business clients in Fintech and MarTech sectors. You will have a central role in our customers’ satisfaction and company’s growth by translating our company’s and customers’ needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. You will be responsible for defining and implementing our APIs and ETL technology strategies, designing clients’ architecture, and defining their data management strategic roadmap. You will build, scale, and monitor various complex AI applications and make our clusters highly available. The ideal candidate should be an expert in Python and Scala (or similar) programming and capable of containerizing APIs and streaming ETL processes. Should be also skilled in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and event streaming tools like Flink and Spark and be at ease when working with NoSQL, analytics databases and query engines. It is expected to help also in building and improving our CI/CD pipelines and keep him/herself and their team up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Responsibilities: Participate in the product development team to develop new products and support existing clients; Collaborate with our business team and use management/delivery frameworks; Write well-documented code using best practices; Write APIs to expose our ML models; Write ETL and streaming processes with Flink and Scala; Dockerize your APIs; Work closely with our data science team; Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies. Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Python, nodeJS or Scala. 3+ years of experience in Postgres, Druid, Mongo, Timescale or similar 2 years of experience in Scala, Flink or similar 1 year of experience in Docker and cloud deployment Experience with application deployment by using CI/CD.
